The Disability Resource Center (DRC) works in collaboration with the University community to ensure access for all students. Students with disabilities may request accommodations to address barriers they anticipate or are presently experiencing through the DRC.
For students who want to get started working with our office:
If you are currently a University of Minnesota student or are taking U of M courses, you can make an initial appointment by calling our front desk at 612-626-1333.
For students who are already registered with our office:
You have a designated access consult who serves as your primary contact in the DRC. This is the person whose signature and contact information is at the bottom of your letter. You can reach out to your access consultant by email or by phone. If you have questions about who your assigned access consultant is, please call our front desk at 612-626-1333.
For instructors/faculty or staff who have questions:
Contact the access consultant named on the student’s letter or contact drop-in. More resources can be found on our faculty/instructor page.
Drop-in meetings and phone calls are brief, about 10-15 minutes, and are intended to provide general information, resources, and/or identify next steps to address urgent concerns.
See drop in schedule on the right.
To reach the access consultant on drop-in email email@example.com during our drop-in hours and our admin support team can support you in connecting with them.
