COVID-19 and Communicating with the DRC
Thank you for visiting the Disability Resource Center website. During the COVID-19 period, we remain committed to supporting access for students, staff, faculty, and guests of the University of Minnesota community. Our staff are currently working remotely and our offices are closed.
Update re. Fall Semester: The University has developed a flexible framework to resume in-person instruction this Fall, with continuing options for robust remote learning. We are actively planning how the Disability Resource Center will continue serving the University community in light of these decisions. We will post future updates here.
For the foreseeable future, the DRC will be holding all appointments and meetings remotely by phone or video conference (Zoom or Google Hangout).
If you are a student or staff person registered with the DRC, you may reach out directly to your access consultant by email.
If you are an instructor seeking consultation regarding an accommodation for a student in your class and if you know who the student's access consultant is (on the bottom of the student's accommodation letter), you may contact the consultant by email. Please also refer to the University of Minnesota's Keep-Teaching website, and specifically the site's Accessibility page for common questions and considerations when working with students with academic accommodations during this time.
