Access is everyone’s every day work. As a way to recognize and celebrate the individuals and departments that go above and beyond to ensure that everyone is welcome and included at the University of Minnesota, the Disability Resource Center established the Access Achievement Awards. Each year individuals and departments are nominated for their outstanding work in advancing access and inclusion of people with disabilities on our campus. Our community comes together to hear award recipients’ stories in the words of the people who nominated them. It is an event to celebrate what we have achieved and a time to reflect on what we are able to do when we partner together.
